Makenzie Caine’s musical roots dig deep into her early childhood years on a rural Minnesota farm where she crooned for the horses, cats and dogs. She reportedly wrote many songs about her first love, Bandit (an English Springer Spaniel).
Through high school she performed in musicals, small choral groups and All-State Choir which lead to her acceptance at Brigham Young University’s Music Dance Theatre Program. Makenzie left school early to take a job singing and dancing at the grand opening of Universal Studios in Japan for one year. Afterwards Makenzie moved to NYC to continue her studies and has since landed jobs performing in Korea, throughout NYC on various stages including the Off Broadway Play, “The Rise of Dorothy Hale”. Makenzie has also appeared on ABC’s All My Children and can be seen in the upcoming feature film, SOLOMON GRUNDY, as the star love interest.
